Term 4

Week 3:
WALT: question what we read and its purpose
Your task is to think about this story and come up with one or two reasons why the author wrote it. A: probably he liked blue jays. He certainly made the blue jay very special in the book - I wonder if they are rare or common?
What is the story about?A: This story was about a boy living in coloured world and every thing and people were coloured violet, yellow, orange and blue but the only thing that didn't change colour was a blue jay. :-)

What is the hidden message or is there one at all? But on occasion they wondered where the Blue Jay had gone and how he was doing and, most of all, if he was still the colour blue and what it had all meant. They let him go when he was no longer 'special'. Do you think this could be referring to the way we keep animals in zoos perhaps?

Is it written to entertain us and if so how? A: NO. Its probably to learn about blue jays.

What is the moral of this story - OR make a moral of your own for this story? A:The moral of the story is to always love a blue jay.
